Car stereos are something that come in just about every car, but it’s how you use it when you travel places that can make or break your trips.
For me, I like to listen to the radio instead of preset CDs or MP3s. I do it for a variety of reasons.
Skipping songs is too easy when you have your own personal player. That sounds great, but it also gets you in a rut. The pluses though is you can control the songs you want to play, but that might end up only being the 10 basic songs.
Also, listening to local radio will break in any news you might be missing while in your car. Traffic and weather reports can get annoying, unless you find yourself rushing to get home and want to avoid an accident on your normal path. Or, you want to know if your softball game that night will be canceled.
To go along with how you listen to your music, you can also buy a ton of different accessories to blare the music both inside and outside your car. As cool as it might be to blare music going down the road, I’d rather enjoy it to myself in the inside of my car. Not every song will be considered cool to the people around the area.
My suggestion would be to make sure you enjoy your music to ease the stress of driving in a traffic jam, or just enjoying the trip a little more. I found that a good balance of a DJ dictating what I listen to on a radio station gives me one less thing to worry about.
