With the current high prices of new Dodge vehicles, many Dodge owners’ are making the decision to keep their older vehicle and save the money they would be spending every month on a new car payment. In order to reduce maintenance costs on an older Dodge vehicle, many owners are staying away from dealership service centers and new auto parts by installing used parts.
Dodge is the 3rd leading producer of medium to heavy duty trucks in the United states right now so you can imagine the number of spare parts laying around just waiting to be put to use. With Chrysler overcoming some of their most recent hurdles with bankruptcy its hopeful these vehicles will be on the road in the near future. It is certain though that in the event new car warranties expire you’ll have a great source of parts to chose from as long as you don’t mind them being used.. Basically what your car runs on now!
For comparison, used Dodge Parts cost on average 25 percent less than new parts and the savings increase dramatically when compared to the cost of parts purchased directly through a dealership. Although some people may feel hesitant when it comes to purchasing used, there is no need to be concerned when it comes to quality or reliability.

The mining of copper and aluminum is a major contributor to localized air and ground contamination; although neither are toxic in natural amounts when concentrated they can be harmful to the environment.
So whether the choice to use Dodge used parts to maintain an older Dodge vehicle is to save money or save the environment, purchasing used Dodge parts is always something to consider.
